Value & Legal Strategies to the Global Energy industry horning his vast experience creating value for
Energy, Regulatory & Governmental Sectors. He also chairs the Centre of global expertise on strategic
utilisation of petroleum and mining resources to produce much good. Advisory, consultancy & execution
partnership with governments, hosts, international oil and mining companies. He was the Hosts of 2016

Mark is a graduate of Southampton Solent University where he completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy-Natural Resources; PIL;
Intl Commercial Transactions; Decommissioning; Regulatory Capture and London Guildhall University where he studied International &
Comparative Business Law with Distinction. He has also attended the famous IMD Business School course on Global Leadership Programme
for Organizational Leadership. He has attended Aberdeen University Centre for Energy Law.

Desmond Agboifo is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer with Desyton Energy Limited, an integrated energy development firm providing
upstream petroleum development and energy infrastructure programs inclusive of business consulting & advisory for the energy& Infrastructure,
capital project development industry in West Africa. Desmond has 10+ years solid experience advising corporations, public and private companies
and governments on corporate investments and has lead teams in the structuring and executing project/structured financings and business
development transactions, performing rigorous business analysis and evaluation, due diligence, developing complex capital / project financial
models, performing investment memorandums, drafting economic valuations reports . He worked with the Abu Dhabi National Oil company as
Corporate Planning Analyst where he has handled operational business plans for the Largest Onshore field in UAE with production capacity over
600 Mbbl / day. Desmond have advised on key upstream projects in excess on USD 1 billion value. Prior to joining ADNOC, he was worked as a
petroleum Engineer with Chevron / TECON Oilfield Services where he worked on several projects with the project team. He then proceeded to
Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen where he studied project management with a specialization in Oil and gas management, fiscal policy and
petroleum economics. He is an upstream petroleum management professional with deep experiences in Economic Modelling for petroleum Projects,
Corporate Planning , Petroleum Fiscal Systems & Modelling, Corporate performance Management.
In 2011, He was the winner of the Annual Balmoral Award for project management endorsed by Shell/ Total on improved decision making in
upstream petroleum projects in Nigeria for the Best project Management proposal focused on Nigerian Energy Development Project
In 2015, He was nominated by the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources as a Visiting Research Fellow with the Organization of petroleum
Exporting country (OPEC) to the Energy Services Department to carry out analysis of fiscal taxation changes on Gasoline and diesel
consumption in the EU. He is a graduate of Aberdeen Business School, Scotland and University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In Nigeria, He has
worked as Corporate business advisor with LADOL Deep offshore where he has been instrumental to delivery capital project over USD 80
million for the development of sustainable economic zones, ranging from sustainable industrial projects to IPP projects and other major
Capital projects. Desmond Agboifo has an MSc graduate from the Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen
majoring in Oil and Gas Project Management. He is also a member of project Management Institute (PMI) and the Society of Petroleum
Engineers (SPE).
Samson is a petroleum economics expert, with degrees in Petroleum Engineering and competencies
in Business Planning and Capital Budgeting, Business Strategic Planning and Insights, Market and
Competitor Analysis, Portfolio Management and Optimization and over 12 years of experience in the
upstream industry.
Samson is the MD/CEO of 3F Capital where he currently helps to attract
investments into the West African energy and capital infrastructure sectors.
Samson provides strategic and financial advisory supports to C-Level Executives operating in these
sectors. He supports these executives to restructure their businesses for improved profitability, and to
reposition them for sustainable growth. He assists these executives and their companies to gain
access to growth funds globally at competitive rates covering major assets in UK, and West Africa
markets.
Samson has worked as senior consultant While at IHS Energy as a Field Development Engineer and Techno-financial analyst and Senior
Consultant to NNPC and IOCs in Nigeria on the Nigerian Gas Master Plan Phase 2
Senior Consultant to the Gabon Ministry of Energy and Total Gabon on the renegotiation of some licenses.
Samson is a graduate of IE (Instituto de Empresa) with MBA in Leadership, Strategy, Finance & Entrepreneurship. Besides that, He attended
University of Houston, Texas for an MSc In Petroleum Engineering and BSc in Chemical Engineering from University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Chris Bird brings in wealth of experience in the Energy and Process industries. A robust
corporate governance, business, operations and captial development background working
at executive / board level since 1999.
Chris is highly experienced in developing and
running businesses, operational assets and capital projects with an excellent track record
of both business turn arounds and high growth to maximize both shareholder returns and
benefits to stakeholders. All previously held executive roles including MD, NED, CEO and
Chairperson in various energy companies.
In Centrica, he was responsible for all upstream Capital Expenditure, Gas storage projects, HSEQ and engineering for both capex and
existing assets. Budget in excess of £1b / year. Sat on the board for offshore wind farm projects / gas storage projects
Chris holds a B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (Distinction) from the Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom and attended university
of Aberdeen as a Scholar, where he graduated with an MSc in project Management Studies.
He has worked on several companies including Centrica Upstream as technical Director, as Managing Director for Aker Kvaener ASA and
Previous to being the MD, He worked with Amoco SNS responsble for the overall contract and where he acted as Asset Manager for
the Inde satelite fiellds as well as managed the engineering / project functions for the Leman field and terminal for the Bacton area.
